       Chris Squire died, Lemmy died, now Bowie... And that just in 2015. Before that, Lou Reed, Levon Helm, Jack Bruce... I am a  rocker since I first grabbed a guitar in the 60s. I never expected that Bowie would leave so soon. You can see in my gallery that David was the one I portrayed more . 











2016 is just beginning and already sucks big time.

2015 started with a lot of work, which let me with little time to draw, paint , play guitar and take photos...probably a few people know that I am also a musician and photographer. Since I took the last weekend to make a photo session, I did not finish any drawing pr painting yet. The comic book project is still in the plot stage, I have some stories but still have to create links so the plot will work well. Since I no longer work for a big comic book company , I don't have a deadline , therefore I don't need to hurry or finish a story in a month or so,  compromising the quality of the overall work.

I also have a great family and this takes time too...  Fortunately, my main model helps me a lot with my photo work. I still have a lot of post-production to do from the last photo session, and then I will be able to resume drawing and painting, certainly using some of my photos as reference.

I have - again - to give a huge thanks to Dr. Brian May ,astrophysicist , musician, singer, songwriter and  mostly  known as the  lead guitarist of the rock band Queen.
He  kindly post the portrait I made on his facebook page, bringing here more than a thousand people...

I have also to thank ( a lot) Candice Night, the beautiful voice of Blackmore´s Night, that also said some nice words about a painting I made of her and Ritchie Blackmore...
If they like my paintings, I have to be  be really proud.

Also, to the fans of Stargate SG-1 , that also gave more than 1,200 views to one of my paintings... I am a huge fan of the series, I have all episodes of Stargate SG-1 and the following movies  ( Ark Of Truth and Continuum) , also Stargate Atlantis and Universe. Well, I am a big fan of sci-fi... Galactica, Blade Runner, 2001, Continuum ( the series with Tickle Nichols) ...I wish I had more time to draw and paint all these things. And , of course, all the musicians I like. And pretty girls.
